I've avoided Atom Heart for a long time, never enjoying either his earlier techno releases or his Lassigue Bendthaus stuff (I think that's him! :) but have recently been really enjoying tracks I've heard. Mainly I'm thinking of his contributions to the Mille Plateaux comp 'In Memoriam Gilles Deleuze' and the Caipirinha comp 'Deutscher Funk'. Could someone recommend things heading in these directions - soft burbly analogue sounds with a strong digital bent to the effects and processing? I'm trying to get hold of 'Schnittstelle', or whatever that one's called, already, as I thought that sounded hopeful, and I'd read several favourable reviews.
