I had a chance to skim through the upcoming Skinny Puppy remix album a
couple of days ago. A very brief chance, so I couldn't listen to much of
it, but I made a point of giving Autechre's remix of "Killing Game" a full
listen, and holy SHIT, it's fucking sick! Barely recognizable except for a
couple of vocal snippets at the end... it's like they sampled a bit from
the droney intro and just stretched it out into this insane soundscape.
One to watch out for, kidz.
Also listened to a li'l bit of the Neotropic mix - I think it's for "Love
in Vein", but I'm not sure (the CD-R only had the artists listed, no track
titles) - sounded good, nice and harsh.
