Hello, I know there are at least one or two Skinny Puppy, ex-Skinny Puppy fans on this list, so thought this might be of some interest. Will certainly be of interest to the Ae. completists. Found it in alt.fan.skinny and I've copied it sans permission. ----- Skinny Puppy, one of the most influential industrial/electronic bands of their time, have had twelve specially selected tracks of theirs re-mixed by a new generation of musicians for an upcoming autumn release called: *+* ReMix Dys Temper *+* The track listing has been confirmed and the list of remix contributors to this project are as follows:1. Smothered Hope - Ogre & Mark Walk (Ruby) 2. Killing Game - Autechre3. Chainsaw - Josh Wink 4. Testure - God Lives Underwater5. Addiction - Gunter Shulz of KMFDM 6. Worlock - Rhys Fulber7. Tin Omen - Adrian Sherwood 8. Assimilate - Chris Vrenna9. Spasmolytic - Deftones 10. Love In Vein - Neotropic11. Rodent - Ken Marshall12. Censor - Guru The album is slated to be released *Tuesday, October 20th* on Nettwerk Records in Canada and the U.S. To round-off this project, Steven R. Gilmore (the original album artist for earlier Skinny Puppy recordings) will be returning to design the album artwork for this release. Album artwork and sound clips should appear on the Nettwerk web site next month, so be sure to check back soon. Thanks for reading... ---------- Sorry for the duff formatting. Whatever happened to the Download "Moth" and whatever the other EP was supposed to be called releases? One of those was also supposed to have an Ae. rmx and I read something about Basic Channel involvement? Could just be the heat effecting my memory though seeing as how good old Johannesburg doesn't seem to want to get cold during winter. -i. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

The other disk in question was(is?) entitled "Resilient". They are both still planned but are being delayed due to Autechre's remix being late. Also, I figure that cEvin is busy with Plateau, solo work, SubCon, SubCon sampler disk two and the multiple Puppy things (Brap II, aforementioned remix disk, etc.). -- Mr. Tangent "insert random quoted text here, for your reading pleasure"
