Compilations like these are potential 'adverts' for getting people to hear
new artists, so you'd think they'd put decent tracks on. This was my first
taste of Mira Calix, and it does sound rather weak - R8 with a few Ae sounds
which goes nowhere. Broadcast was ok - quite surprising stuff for Warp I
think. I wish BoC would do something shocking - they're good, but never
surprise me.
