I = "Fuck-with-your-head-phone" D= Dance M= Music If it molests my consciousness while simulataniously making me want to DANCE, it's "IDM" to me, The "D" in dance is more important than the much scrutinized and debated "I"....and then let us not forget the infamous "M". Its music. We all shell out the dough to feed our habit and then later discuss it here at great length. Beethoven's 9th symphony really fucks with my head but it doensn't make me want to dance. I guess that means Beethoven does not equal IDM. Plug fucks with my head AND makes me want to get down. To me Plug = IDM.
