spike jonez is directing his first relatively major motion picture..."Inside the Mind of John Malkovich" starring John Malkovich...no joke er,to keep it idm...anyone hear the Stock, Hausen and Walkman remix of Pulp's "This is Hardcore" single? it's brilliant... I'mjust waiting for them to blow up huge steve In a message dated 98-04-06 15:15:54 EDT, you write: << On Mon, 6 Apr 1998, Spawn wrote: > >Otherwise, the Spike Jonez directed "Electrobank" was OK at best. > > Yeah, I thought it was pretty interesting that they got him to direct it, > you know? Spike Jonez isn't really a "major director", all I've seen from him so far are music vids, including this one and Daft Punk's "Da Funk". And as for the Chems being "obscure"... well, let's not go there. It'll just get nasty. :) Greg >>

The whole single is brilliant. Well, the 4 Hero mix is a bit of a disappointment (rather generic lazy headz-style breakbeat), but the SHW and Tipsy mixes rule. And goddammit, the album itself is fucking great as well. As a friend of mine put it, it's the best album Roxy Music never did. Miles beyond "Different Class" (which I enjoyed as well). Greg
