OK, I was at my favorite import shop picking up the Phonecia single and
saw that they had a copy of this Freakwincey "I Farted" 12" on Rephlex, so
I had to give it a listen.
And y'know, it's pretty fuckin' funny - in a Beavis & Butthead/South Park
sorta way. Basically a slow jam style R&B tune with lyrics about farting
("Got lots of gas/in my ass" or something like that), a bunch of fart
sounds, etc. Totally infantile, but I sorta dug it. Not enough to actually
*buy* it, mind you, but it was definately in the "so bad it's good"
catagory.
I didn't get a chance to check out the b-sides, but one of 'em was called
"Love Secretion", which made me think of Chef (Issac Hayes) on South Park
singing "Love Gravy". Heh.
Oh, and I also finally got the joke regarding the name Freakwincey. Try
saying it slow with emphasis on the "Freak"... geddit?
