yes the list posted of artists using Max/MSP is fairly accurate...add Ryoji Ikeda to that list...I used Max/MSP on my new CD for Mille Plateaux titled "cathodeFlower"...I'm currently working on some new Max/MSP patches for an upcoming CD project and plan on doing some performing next year in Europe with this set of patches on a laptop... ***warning: unless you have some high level programming experience I would suggest a coarser grain app like Generator or Audio Architect...Max/MSP is not for the faint-hearted... check it our though: www.cycling74.com good luck!
