Heyo, all .. anyone know if there is a mailing list along the lines of alt.music.makers or the like? I'm not fond of newsgroups, and find mailings lists like this one a lot easier and efficient. And now something kinda relevant .. I bought the Gary Numan tribute album the other day, featuring artists like The Orb, Pop Will Eat Itself, EMF, and Jimi Tenor. Simply put, if you don't really like Gary Numan, don't buy this just because it has a track by your favorite artist on it, none of them are that great .. but then, I've only listened to it once, and am NOT a big Numan fan, so hey, buy it anyway. It's a two cder in one case, so it flips out. The holder part for my first disk was broken. You know, the little circle with the spikes that stick out. Well, some spikes were broken, and now whenever I go in for the second disk, the first one falls out or slides around. What a hassle. It seems like %90 of multi-disk sets I've ever bought have been like this. WHY?? It's so important for these cases to be functional, why are they so often not ..? lnt-lp: more songs about buildings and food, talking heads noah
