I just got a cd called "Inner Space Stations" by Yellowcake on Radical Ambient. The musician is S. Cortesi, recorded in Italy. Very listenable, beaty, electronic noises, lots of filter sweeps.... Very different, unusual. A fresh perspective and something quite new and lovely has emerged. Yeah, I'll throw myself behind this one as well. A really pleasant surprise considering that the KK/Nova Zembla/Radical Ambient axis of labels has had a fairly spotty track record at times. They've been getting their shit together in the last year or two, though, with obvious stuff (ike Test Dept., Scorn, etc.) and some not-so-obvious stuff (Yellowcake, Brain Pilot, and the fucking brilliant Xingu Hill album from a couple of months back that I should've mentioned during that "looking from something like Public Energy No. 1" thread). They still do a fair bit of the generic psychedelic trance thing, but gems are popping up in their roster more and more often. Oh, and of course, they've still got PWOG. Can't forget that. Greg
