Bad timing. I submitted "O Fortuna" too late to get it on the list this
time around :-( Here, let's try this again.
Thanks to the hundreds of kind people who offered their treasured copies
of "O Fortuna" up for sale. I apologize for not including smileys in my
offer to "pay anything" for it. I had hoped the "ObNonIDM" tag would be a
signal.
Every Saturday night, all over the world, drunken young men at fake raves
are dancing and falling in love with beautiful women when "O Fortuna"
comes on. The high cost of love is driving up the price (though not the
value) of this classic-thread-spawning record.
I have heard "O Fortuna" on CD and vinyl, on a $78,500 turntable and a
trashpicked CD player, and I have to tell you, "Urmur Bile Tracks" is
better.
