Thought some of y'all might be interested in this...
I was in Other Music here in NYC (west 4th btwn Broadway and Lafayette)
yesterday buying some goodies and saw a poster announcing a live in store
performance by Talvin Singh on Tuesday June 24th - yes kids thatz this coming
Tuesday. I don't remember the time, it was in the evening however.
It's in support of Soundz from the Asian Underground, which is a great CD
even though mine was stolen (GRRRRRR) I had a chance to listened to it a few
times. I am sure the performance will be pretty cool.
I saw Spring Heel Jack there a month or so ago, the store was full, but not
uncomfortably so. If you live close enough check it out.
If I remember, I will try and find out the time. Otherwise it's probably
best that you call the store and ask if interested.
