hey folks, sorry to post AGAIN, but i was thinking about the mask 002 culprit controversy i helped 4th world spread last night (see "(idm) armed and dangerous"). i threw on the skam005 (bola 1) for old times sake - in honour of the mighty darrell fitton and then it HIT ME... "krak jakomo" (a2) not really forgotten - let's just say, lost in the recent shuffle of new tunes. this track is KILLER and makes me think that mr. fitton is RIPE FOR RESPONSIBILITY on the infamous TRACK A1 of mask 002. you heard it here first i suppose... which makes sense, because the oddities (possible unknowns) of the release (a2 - piano softy; and b3 - the noise meets drum and bass number) don't seem to fit the bola, funkstorung, or jega molds. not that we should EXPECT the same style from these people, but i really cannot see any of those kids rolling out the noise and HARD-AS-NAILS/BREAKNECK-DRUM-AND-BASS. hence, the culprits have been RE-aligned in my eyes. the new line-up reads like this: a1 - bola (after recent findings on the clue trail) a2 - intron (by name really, as OPPOSED to the DARKness of hellinterface on b3) b1 - jega (same as before) b2 - funkstorung (same as before) b3 - hellinterface (why not, it's 2 minutes of HELL on wheels!) ----- that's it, my voting/clue seeking (read: TRAINSPOTTING) regarding this SUPERB release is now over. now, let me sit back and enjoy this slab for a few months before mask 003 (WHEN's THAT again??!!!!) hits the streets... cheers for listening/putting up with me... asg gregas@CHE.ufl.edu

heh. have you thought possibly that the names don't match up with the tracks at all.... there's (quite obviously) an artist on there who is not mentioned on the label at all. g.
