Personally, I reckon this is one of the weakest albums on the Warp label. There's an interesting track or two, but for the most part it's just one tired old cliche after another. I put it on every 6 months or so, hoping to discover something I missed last time, but I never do find it. I've got the Tangents, which is basically the single from the album. My friend actually has Diversions. It's pretty cool. I'd say Diversion's worth 5 bucks since I paid 10 for this single. It's not really heavy on bass. It's kind of peppy. Trancy, but not in a Goa-type way. It sounds like a combination of Warp and Planet Dog stuff. A bit spacy, Aphexy and trancy all at the same time. If nothing else, you can sell it later for probably more than you paid for it. Spliff

G'day, Saw a warp cd by RAC called 'Diversions' in my local used cd store - can anyone tell me what it is like? Is it worth getting, etc? It was only $5 Australian, or about US$4 - pretty cheap, but that's still a couple of beers I might be missing out on... Thanks, Geoff
