Contrazoom is a classic !!- groovy one sided 10" (one track only ) - jungle undertones with some really quite funny film soundtracky-type string samples which sound like they either come from a Bond film or an episode on Barnaby Jones ( a bit like the ones used on "Pseuedomorph") and suddenly at the end come these wild vocals (by Alison Goldfrapp) which indeed are VERY Shirley Bassey-esque !! A friend and I were laughing our heads off when we first heard it !! Not because it's bad but because it's brilliant !! The label says it's a sampler of from the forthcoming Spacer album, which by all accounts looks like being really good.
