I have heard it most often pronounced: Aw - tek - ruh Their sound is kind of hard to describe (aren't they all!). Some of their stuff is very Aphex-Twin like (Check out Incunabula, Basscadet, Anvil Vaper). Some of their other stuff is quite melodic (Amber). It's all kind of weird. I enjoy their album Incunabula the most out of the ones I have heard. They have a few excellent tracks on the Artificial Intelligence Comps also. When I heard them live however (London summer of 1995), they played stuff that I thought was quite different than the other stuff I had heard by them, it was quite driving and danceable, while still maintaining a quirky/experimental edge to it. I know they are playing live with Space Time Continuum in LA March 13th, I don't know what the rest of their tour schedule is though.
