As many people do, you confuse drugs with altered consiousness/perception. Drugs are only a means towards an end, that being an alteration of your "normal" waking consousness. While this alteration may "enhance" your experience of music, I think it very narrow minded to claim certain music can only be enjoyed where drugs are involved. BTW, I do smoke more than just Marlies myself, so I am not anyti-drug or anything, just trying to help us all understand. JG John C.S. One of the best states of altered consciousness I ever experienced was while chopping vegetables, listening to the Maurizio track on "Excursions in Ambience II". I thought the track was kinda chee-z til I started trippin', and no, I wasn't smokin' or dosin'. Why would I want the hassle of doing drugs, w/ the baggage of deleterious physical effects that go along w/ them, as well as the monetary cost, when I can trip on music w/o them? Drugs can only take you so far, and can only take you so many places. Do yourself a favor & learn to alter your concsiousness w/o them. Chill Che

I for one listen to music so that I won't have to take drugs. That being said, one of the tripper pieces of weirdness I've gotten lately is the Eat Static 'Epsylon.' The Jungle cut on that disk is positively bugging. Even has bhangra influence to it. They may be bandwagon jumpers, but they're stylish even in their shamelessness.
