My Ifach, vol 1 CD doesn't have a catalog # on it. It simply has "ifach CD1" on the case. It also has a message reading "distribution/info 0171 372 0391."

TEX 4 is good. I love the whole series because it gives me the low-down and a taste of bands/labels that I normally wouldn't have exposure to. The Baby Ford tracks (viper & KY9) are done under the names "Rue East" and "Solcyc" with Mark Broom and are typical Ifach deep techno pieces.

Don't know Teep but would love to hear the Black Dog GPR ep as well. BTW: Fans of the Black Dog sound should check out the band Extra Vehicular Activity self-titled CD on Kickin Records (KICK CD26). Nine outstanding melodic excursions into experimental techno, ambient, jungle and dub. By far, one of my favorite releases this year! Also, if you're into great compilations, check out the "Miscellaneous" compilation on Tony Thorpe's (of 500 Blows, KLF, Moody Boys fame) new Language label. Twelve impressive tracks from promising artists like Tranquil Elephantizer, Endemic Void, Circadian Rhythms. Ranging in styles from experimental jungle (reminiscent, at times, of Vibert's PLUG records) to melodic techno (in some instances sounding "VERY" Black Dog circa "Bytes"), this compilation forcasts great releases in Language Record's future. -->-Lance--- mclance@ix.netcom.com

I should specify that we're talking of the 'Vantool' (I think that was it) which came out on GPR a few years back Actually, ALL of the Black DOg on GPR I heard was great - Wicked

Oi! It's time to set free a batch of reviews no doubt. Hold tight. (Teephobiatics be warned...ready those kill file keywords.) No, I have not found a copy of the Vantool EP to call my own. Now I'm wishing I had dubbed the loaner before I was forced to return it. Doei, Teep on now: beverly hills 808303 vs hott (2x7")

I thought that Temple of Transparant Balls was crap. Had maybe 2/3 good tracks, but the rest was badly written trash. Nothing compared to Bytes...(then again, nothing compares to Bytes) Mind you, that Balil EP on Rising High is truely amazing.... ____ __,---' `--.__ ,-' ; `.
