Yep! I have the Elektrostatik/Krakpot 12" and it's like a METRONOME! One beat - thump thump thump - over and over! There's lots of filtering of subtle acid-like sounds, and some drummachine percussions on one track atleast, but there's NO STRUCTURE to the tracks...just a beat, over and over. Either he meant to do this, making minimal tracks which leave much to the listener's imagination (to make sense of them), or I'll just have to say: How the hell did Richie Hawtin ever make a name for himself? I've heard Blob, also. The rhythm & bassline here is groovy, but minimal and repititous like the other tracks. I think Plastikman is overhyped if any magazine raves about him. It's possible that my grandma could make better techno... -djkc
