recent purchases i've loved to death...
x-103 - Atlantis
-----------------
Jeff Mills and Mad Mike take you on a trip underwater and into the past.
This is lately my favorite disc for living/driving/reading to -- it's hard
as nails but manages to be beautiful and alluring at the same time. It's
piled to the gills with vintage analogue gear and a strange "70's english
art rock filtered through Detroit techno" feel. Highly recommended.
stereolab - Transient Random Noise Bursts With Announcements
-----------------
OK, so it's not dance music, but I can't think of anything else that's
spent as much time on my stereo lately. Not a bum cut to be found.
plastikman - sheet one
--------------
Richie Hawtin doing what I can only describe as "Martian Acid" -- way more
"out there" than his Fuse material (perhaps those who find Fuse lacking
in the innovation department might find this more to their liking).
