The big winners were The Crystal Method with three awards (Best Act -- U.S. Artists; Best Album -- U.S. Artists, for Legion of Boom; and Best Single -- Worldwide Artists, for Born Too Slow). Washington, D.C., duo Deep Dish, who won a Grammy a couple years back for their remix of Dido's hit song Thank You, also did well, with two awards (Best Compilation -- U.S. releases, for Global Underground 25: Toronto; and Best U.S. DJ, beating out such stars as Danny Tenaglia and last year's winner, Sandra Collins); and German trance legend Paul van Dyk, who won Best International DJ and Best Use of Music in a TV Commercial (for Motorola, along with DJ Colette and Felix da Housecat, who also won Best Import DJ)."
