ambient airlines is hosting ISHQ this saturday, oct.25 at their new record
store in San Francisco for a pre-opening listening party!
ishq will be playing a live set from 4-5pm. come by and get a taste of
what's to come the next day when ishq plays the planetarium... also, enjoy
refreshments, you can purchase cds from ambient airlines' stellar stock, and
buy discounted ishq planetarium tickets!
also, i'm sure we can convince proprietor chris morin [dj curium] to hit us
with some of his spaced out downtempo stylings on the decks. definitely
check this out.

and for the main event, ishq will be playing a three hour event at Morrison
Planetarium this Sunday. info below. advance tickets available via
www.dub-beautiful.org or at the ambient airlines pre-opening listening
party. ishq [discreetly known as Matt Hillier] is flying to san francisco
for this event only. he has never played in the United States, and this is
his only live date planned. we also regret to report that this will likely
be the LAST PLANETARIUM SHOW before they demolish it for rebuilding.

ishq is one of the most eloquent artists in modern ambient music. a refugee
from the UK acid-house scene of the 90's, he left London for more sublime
surroundings to create deeper, more meaningful music. ishq forges organic
and deeply contemplative ambient music from the depths of his electronic
instruments. this is his first North American concert appearance ever and
will be his only US concert date on this trip.
there will be no opening act. ishq will treat us all to two long sets
sourced from his released material, unreleased material, and soon-to-be
released work.
