:: the past week has been spent bent over a keyboard, staring at my
monitor in the dark, working for hours...all for the unveiling of a new
site design, v3.0 of the kikapu net.label. as per usual, you can go to
http://www.kikapu.com and see the new site in all its glory. new
features include an events page promoting upcoming shows and archiving
past events. plus we're slowly adding reviews of our releases as well.

kh9dERw0n is back at Kikapu with another huge helping of chiptunes.
Reconstructing Richard has offered another four track EP that comes
with a super-duper collection of remixes of his track "Balance Boy" by
a wide variety of artists. On this release you'll hear a mix of video
game-influenced noise, techno, melodica, experimental, down tempo,
idm, and any other genre that you can come up with. Each remix is
different in its own right, making this release undefinable and
all-over-the-place. Just the way we like it.

Clint Anderson has been producing music for nearly a decade now,
starting off in the familiar territory of tracking at his home in Eau
Claire, Wisconsin, and slowly working his way into other realms of
software and hardware production. His analog-designed soundscapes are
usually on edge, with a hint of drum n' bass and techno present as
well; these tracks range from in-your-face electronics to slow melodic
ambient pieces.

Florida native and Nophi Recordings frontman r_garcia has so lovingly
graced our presence with an album of new tunes, a full 40 minutes worth
of new music exclusive to Kikapu that is. While not afraid to show his
experimental side, r_garcia's music borders on a mix between melodic
electronics and noise, with a surprising slice of soul and funk mixed
in. One can also hear his love for indie rock shining through on these
tracks, so feel free to rock out yourself to these twelve amazingly fun
and beautiful tracks.
