Breaking it down a bit:
*Saying* that the term "IDM" is racist may be construed as racist (as if
there is a race which is excluded from "intelligence").
The argument about whether the term "IDM" is a good one and whether
anything should replace it has recurred so often and for so long (archives,
anyone?) that it must have a supernatural origin.
FS lists and FA lists have been around and an accepted part of the list
(for good or ill) for ages as well, but they apparently are welcomed to
some extent by a degree of the populace and have some kind of function -
unlike the perennial rehash of the term "IDM" which evokes no light and
often heat.
Mikrolux is a lovely label.
