anyone check out this group simian? a friend let me borrow "chemistry is
what we are" and id have to say its some of the best and most original stuff
ive heard in a long while. ive read some reviews on amazon.com where people
compare it to a cross between aphex twin and the beta band. i can see the
beta band comparison but as far as aphex twin is concerned theres no
connection. just because a band uses electronics in a "unconventional"
manner does not mean theyre related to aphexs style of music. anyway if you
get a chance you should definitely check out this group. id would compare
them more with notwist if i had to but like i said its pretty original and
kind of stands on its own...
