His other work is not necessarily better or worse--just different.
Dimitri's music is agitation; sometimes it renders itself in the form of
a burning itch requiring you run your nails over it in a sordid kind of
rhythmic bliss--a relief--while at other times it's an unexpected,
overwhelming swarm of pin-pricking noise that leaves you bloodless.
Hearing him play live is even more unsettling.
So in trying to discern whether to pursue his other releases, keep in
mind that they're likley going to agitate in some way.

I'll prolly get a pipebomb from him for that remark...by the way, that
photo appeared next to a story about him in XLR8R a couple years ago.
