While i know this release has a couple years on it, and
even more if you look at when it was composed, Dean
Debendictis' style is still vivid and right in line with other
folks in the exp.electronics field (Lexaunculpt, Somatic
Response, Codec, Random et al)..
His album with DiN 8 that combines his demo material all re-
mixed and mastered for 'In Vitro Tide' treads on many
genre's that i think this list might enjoy.
Ambient waves run parallel to the gritty percussion and
deep basslines while guitar laden melodies occasionally
appear in a sharp funky mode. A few spattery drum'n bass
grooves are wrapped around pensive rhythms, and an
overall industrial element appears on a few selections..
Check this one out if you see it in stores..
Surface 10's demo from a couple years back called 'Vector
Fable' (on Evenum, his own label) can be described as
"...Mechanical glitch ambience meets obscure industrial
breakbeats.." >>As clipped from igloomag.com..
