Well for those still tangled in a sound reverb problem, I went to canadian tire (canada's hardware store) and bought myself a 6 foot roll of 2 inch bedding foam. It's squishy but not too squishy and only set me back 20 bucks (10 bucks american). Anyway, I cut it up into sections and placed 2 sections (4inches total) under each speaker. The result is that my speakers are a little less stable AND the neighbours don't complain. The foam picks up about 75% of the vibrations (or more). I had the dial on the amp all the way up to 20% last night (which is pretty darn loud) and you still could barely feel the floor rumble. However, the room was full of good clear clean sound.
