Haven't heard anything from Bluetrain since '99... then I've not
been paying attention, so I might well have missed something.
They did a series of 12s, then compiled some highlights onto a cd, no
lightweight stuff... all Bluetrain Records, Steve O'Sullivan.
The sounds were minimal, dubby techno - less detailed and more dubby
than Chain Reaction, tresoresquein places. There was also
some stuff that was almost pure electronic dub, and that was pretty
interesting too... also an enthusiasm for locked grooves and so forth.
Is this something new?
