I would recommend a cold shower until you get back to normal :-) This would
be a very expensive undertaking unless you were also able to line up a lot
of production contracts from other labels. You are talking about a lot of
specialised industrial machinery and raw materials, and I'm sure that stuff
needs regular maintenance as well as correct operation. And producing vinyl
is both a smaller market and a more difficult job than CD.
All the small electronic labels I have ever bought releases from
subcontracted the duplication to another company. Sorry to pour cold water
on your idea, but if you do not already know what/where to buy then you are
probably not ready to take on such a risky investment. The back pages of
Electronic Musician have lots of ads from duplication houses, I guess you
could start by calling them and asking what equipment they offer to their
customers.
