there are groups out there who sound nothing like either that i think are
good. try arovane, magnetaphone, boards of canada, higher intelligence
agency, some orbital, some orb, kid606, etc. The problem is that you don't
like repetitious stuff, so you probably won't like any of it. I think that
repetition is a good thing cause that is where you have to train yourself
how to listen. You learn from repetition.
It's really unfortunate that you think that way about music because there is
a lot of beatiful things being done that you will probably never understand.
