I think it's more that people aren't aware of much else other than trance
and house. Not to mention there are very few people who go out and educate
themselves about the evolution of electronic music and how the genres are
all related. Most people don't see a connection between trip-hop and
gabber, and I can't blame them.
I would say just keep talking to people about the music you love. Don't try
and convert them or look down on them for listening to a certain genre, just
play them the music and let them decide. I know a few people who aren't
going to run out and buy the stuff I play, but they're always interested.

Definitely true...I'm sure it wouldn't be near as popular without MDMA.
Hell, I know lots of people who could care less what's coming out of the
speakers just as long as they're 'rollin'. It's a shame because I actually
quite like some trance.

I haven't heard about this bill, have any info on it? There have to be more
details to this, otherwise every club in the US would be shut down.
