definition of a party..
Sometimes i wonder if people go out with the intent of having a shit time
and finding things to slag off. Do you lead a happy life or do you find
everything shit? I bet you're a complete miserable bastard. .

massive overcrowding near the stage, and there was nothing to indicate a
running order ANYWHERE, if there ever was, it had probably been removed by
some drooling spotter, as had a lot of the direction notices on the way from
the station.
So what there were bottle necks - easily got past with a small amount of
effort and patience.
quoted 1 line as for the music, BOC were ok, it was nice to hear their new stuff,>as for the music, BOC were ok, it was nice to hear their new stuff,
especially after steve beckett made a point of dismissing vocoders as played
out on the warp site a while back..... so vocoders are only old hat when
used on another companies records eh?

As I said before WHAT DID YOU EXPECT!!! If you don't think Boc work live
DONT GO TO SEE THEM LIVE
quoted 1 line if people were dancing to/applauding a fire alarm and actually thought this>if people were dancing to/applauding a fire alarm and actually thought this
was BOC, i can only assume these people will dance to anything, given the
belief that it is being performed by a "big name" (this assumption was
reinforced later that night)
If you dont care about "big names" but just the quality of music why does
the lack of a running order bother you?

kids with DHR t-shirts and chain wallets that still say WAZZZUP! watching
the few fuckups that were actually attempting to dance was hysterical...
drooling (literally) vibrating MDEA fucked morons that looked like their
ambition in life was to pretend they had cerebral palsy. if only i had video
camera to have filmed them, i reckon i could have put them off drugs for
life..
So when people do start partying and dancing they are fuck-ups...

if i'm in a minority, obviously i and my label have no place in a scene
where anal, insular, music is de rigeur, and i'll be trying to find a more
lighter, FUN oriented list (anyone know if electrobreaks is still around?)
Well I thought Bogdans set _was_ fun as did most people around me. I enjoyed
the whole affair - musically it was what I expected and what I thought most
people on this list who are familiar with the artists/labels involved would
expect. The only pissed off people I met were those who expected an all
night techno dance party and hadn't heard of any the people playing (and
taking up precious tickets from those who would have appreciated it). Maybe
Warp should have dropped the rave tag or turned a room over to
Weatherall/Two Lone Swordsmen for those in need of repetitive beats.
My second 2 cents (that makes 4)
