I dunno about everyone else, but when i first got into IDM, new
releases of amazing shit were popping up all over the place. New things
were going on all the time, drill and bass was just coming out . . .
things seemed new. Now, as time has worn on, i've gradually grown less
and less excited about new releases. IDM, for me, turned the world of
pop music upside down in a fantastic way... and i would like to see
people continue in that grand tradition. Don't get me wrong, im still
mad 31337 idmcore and whatnot, and idm is most of what graces my
stereo.... i just wish... (for something fresh?) i dunno, maybe someone
else can express this more eloquently.

(P.S. I know there are some fantastic new releases i've missed etc,
and this is more a statement on the general status of idm/electronic
music than individual artists)
