Just thought I'd like to say fruity loops is badass. The process of music
making IS inconsequential just as is the appreciation of any kind of music
is. Anyway, FLP is a sweeeeet tracker with great options, good midi
implementation, and I'm sure the FX stuff works great too. My point of view
is, music is a collection of samples for the most part, or can be viewed as
one, and any way to sequence or arrange samples, no less manipulate them, is
a good expedient. Whatever works works. Id also like to put in a quote by
one of the autechre guys, but I couldnt find it. It went something like "you
have to push the limits of whatever youre using to obtain a good end"... I
truely agree with that, cause anyone can put a few cool sounds together.
Autechre, moreover, is an excellent example of how artists pushed their
machines and brains past their preconceived limits.... blahlblhala
