I appreciate noise as much as anyone.
My point was listenability vs. noise for the sake of noise. I like both.
But one takes more skill than the other, there is no disputing that. I
appreciate your defense of Mego though. It's good to see dedicated fans.
That's what helps the little guys survive. I'd do the same if you attacked
someone who I respect very much like John Cage, or Autechre.
As far as Twine goes, we are working hard to make music we like. You can
never please everyone. Funny that the only defense you had for the Mego ppl
was to attack Twine, which is a much younger entity. I'm sure that Mego
started somewhere also. Ah, how quickly we forget these things.
