If you like 10"s then you'll like what Plug Research is doing...
Plug Research will release a split 10" every month in the year 2000 although
they're a little behind at the moment. Artists contributing for "Split This 2000"
will be Lo Soul, Dean De Costa, Joey Mouk, Phthalocyanine, Pole, Trash
Aesthetic, Mr. Hazeltine, Divine Styler, Move D, Mr. Moto, Bernd Mause,
Sutekh, and many others.
Plug Research will also release an Jazz comp soon. It will feature artists such
as Farben, Rus Gabrielle, Cinematic Orchestra, Eight Miles High, Sluta Leta,
The Tenants, Nate Kraft, Low Res, Sassy, Thomas Fehlmann, and others.
They are also planning on releasing albums by Smyglyssna, Dntel, Jeremy
Dower, Soulo, Mannequin Lung, Trash Aesthetic. There will be a single
from Smyglyssna, that include remixes from snd and a special remix to be
announced. There will be a single by Dntel, featuring a remix by DJ Nobody.
Looks like 2k will be a banner year for Plug Research!
