A little knowledge is a dangerous thing...
I just used Vision DSP to record a bunch of old mix tapes that I originally
recorded circa 1988-1990, which is great, since I now have them on a
[relatively] non-volitile medium. But now I'm wondering what to do next. I'd
really like to burn my mixes onto CDs, but I'm a bit unclear as to what the
best way to go about executing this plan.
I recorded the tapes on separate tracks within sequences in Vision. Do I now
need to mix the tracks down into individual AIFF files and use those to burn
the CDs, or can I just export them and use Toast to burn them onto CDs? I
was thinking it might be a good idea to do some EQing and clean up on the
tracks before finalizing.
Unfortunately I've not done this before and can use all the help I can get.
I'd like to do it soon, since I went from 8 gigs down to 4 and I'd like to
get it cleared off.
If anyone can give me some help, I'd sure appreciate it. I don't mind if we
take it off-list, unless others are interested in this topic as well...
