THIS one I can answer! They used the same basic sound for all the Transformers but to give it a unique twist they did some tricks with the fader - by upping the gain on some parts of sound while downplaying others. It might also be that in some cases they slowed it down(for dramatic effect) and sped it up(fxample when many Transformers changed all at once). How they made that sound I don´t know, though it sounds seriously phased. Heh, this is what you get for remembering those cheesy saturday morning mid-80´s cartoons :). Also on this tip for all you Americans, a company called Flying Rhino has put out that lost classic: Transformers The Movie. It totally blows out of the water ALL the episodes. If you watched any of them, get this - it´s essential. And if anyone can give info on those Plone 7" that´d be great. Talking about 7", wasn´t there a 7" series in the UK called Slut Smalls that a magazine called Jockey Slut was responsible for. I only remember such name as the Two Lone Swordsmen, Super_Collider, Freq Nasty and others. Has anyone on this list heard any of these? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
