Well, sure, but that's the point, I think... Go see him live if you've got the chance - it makes a lot more sense coming out of 20-foot speaker stacks. Every shift in texture and dynamics assaults your whole body. I know what you mean, though, and the one thing he did do when I heard him last weekend was build the set up to more of an obvious climax. 'course, he was playing for 4,000 (or so) candy ravers....not his usual crowd. Still, he turned out the tightest mix I heard that night, by far.
