I'd like to remind those of you discussing guitar bands here that "IDM"
originally referred to techno producers in the UK who were inspired by the
subtler Detroit techno. People like Kirk Digiorgio/As One, his ART label
and the artists in Warp's Artificial Intelligence series. 1989/90 +
