I don't know if anyone else experiences this, but I've found that a lot of music
sounds better while driving than stationary. Often I'll make a tape of new record or
CD I just bought, listen to it first in the car, fall in love, but can never
re-create the original reaction while at home. I overvalue almost everything while on
the road (and my car stereo sucks). I've especially found this true with cheesy
house/techno/trance mix tapes....Maybe it's that you're so bored, you give everything
a chance....
This phenomenon might have something to do with why most radio sucks...
