Along similar lines, and more impressive IMO, is Xenakis' "La Legende d'Eer" (Montaigne, Fr.) This piece from the late 70s comes years later than most of what's on the disc above. Highly mathematical, and horrific. Think somewhere between, say, Ryoji Ikeda and Merzbow. Anyone got the "Kraanerg" CD on Asphodel? --Mark __ Burning Rome : SENSELESS CD on Mindfield Records MindCD03 Cathartium 14 < http://www.burningrome.com/ > < more high-quality MP3s coming soon >
