I'd like to say that everyone is missing the most obvious solution here. IDM
is the new death metal. This one time I was so into this one Autechre song
with the crunches and the blips and the melody I started headbanging, and
after a lengthy meditation on the subject I realized the truth. Cannibal
Corpse, Carcass, Broken Hope, Entombed...these are but stepping stones to IDM,
to The New Death Metal. So can we end this foolishness once and for all?
