ah fine don't offer me any help but instead force me to write some more. ;) the only matmos i have is the aformentioned self titled disc. i like it quite a bit. it doesn't really sound much like autechre, but probably would appeal to those that appreciate autechre's sensibility. the cd i have is quite varied, from a very long trancy tribal piece (which i like and i don't usually like that kinda stuff), to the d'n'b piece that i want more of, to coil-esque ambience. lots of quirky sounds. the music sounds a little static at first, but it is always evolving on a micro level. recommended. i'm not sure about their other cds though, as i believe that they're more in the cd fuckery realm, which may or not appeal to you... ethan
