Couple of suggestions:
Gustav Mahler, Symphony No. 3 -- I'd strongly suggest the version
conducted by Claudio Abbado, who has a flair for this type of music.
John Cage, Sonatas and Interludes for Prepared Piano -- there are many
recordings, and you might even want more than one. Preparation turns the
regular piano into an ensemble of gentle percussion. In some ways these
pieces owe much to Satie.
