I already did my rave about 'Tragic Epilogue' on here, but I'd just like to stress my agreement with what's written above. It's one of very few releases in the past 12 months that's hit me as fresh sounding. Not that there haven't been other great releases, just that this hits me as a truly distinct approach to its genre. I also picked up the ep on Black Hoodz (subsidiary of Wordsound) which was surprisingly staid, musically. Still bonkers lyrically and flow-wise. I notice (it was posted on this list, in fact :) that Beans from the Anti-Pop Consortium has an ep coming out on a Mo'Wax imprint (something like Vecta??) called 'Nude Paper'. I wonder whether that's the same 'Nude Paper' as turns up on 'Tragic Epilogue', and how that works... Michael np.
