Did you try hooking up Reaktor to Rebirth and using LM-4 as a drummachine? If you see what is possible with Reaktor, even without really knowing all the ins and outs of the program I find it hard to believe any single hardware synth (which is usually a lot more expensive) can compete! Only downpart is you need a hefty computer to run it, but buying a computer is a much more 'lucrative' investment than buying a synth, because you can do so much more with it (anybody for Unreal Tournament? ;) and since there is a stupendous amount of sotware nowadays (just look through a copy of Computer Music, that English mag about music, and you'll see what I mean!).
