... and don't forget the same characters' BLACK SWAN NETWORK disk, _The Late Music_, released on Australia's Camera Obscura label. more of that cut-up Stockhausian p/redigested tape garble ambience. sounds almost identical to Nurse With Wound! but something tells me that Stevie Stapleton is a most unlikely influence for these moonlighting Elephant 6 popsters. maybe it's just the far-out arrangements of the Beach Boys or the tape-stuff in which the Beatles dabbled carried to a 90's DIY extreme. sounds excellent, whatever the story may be. cheers!
