It's not that bad, certainly better than a lot of things pressed to vinyl/CD, like say Gerald's Black Secret Technology. I think it sort of adds to the mystique of the Drexciyan sound...who knows maybe they went swimming w/their masters before they reproduced them:) I don't know if it's this 2CD set in particular, because if you listen to their EP on Warp, it's just as rough...I think that's part of their aesthetic.

cuz it's NYC? Since when did the rules of electronica pricing make any sense?;) That's one of the dope things about the Detroit scene, and places like Submerge and Record Time, beaucoup dope records for cheap.
